The Parkland Pathways program is accepting applications through April 5th. The pathway program is a dual-enrollment program and students will apply to be admitted at both Parkland and the University of Illinois. Please see your counselor with any questions.
Prom tickets will be sold before and after school in Mrs. Lindenmeyer’s room 17 and Mrs. Leaman’s room 11. Tickets are $40 each; seniors are free, but must still pick up a ticket. If you are bringing a non-UHS student, you must have a signed permission form before purchasing a ticket for the guest. Permission forms can be picked up in the office.
The Post Prom trip has been changed. If you have paid, you can stop in the office to pick up your money. New details will be sent out soon.
Seniors, Mr Stringer and Mrs Kuetemeyer are now taking sign ups and deposits for the senior trip. The first 52 to sign up and pay the deposit are guaranteed a spot, everyone else will be put on a waiting list for a second bus. Check your Google classroom for more details about the trip.
Unity High School's Gay-Straight Alliance will be having its first meeting during activity period on Friday, March 25 in Ms. Snodgrass' room (Room 5). Any and all students are welcome to join. Please see Ms. Snodgrass if you cannot attend the meeting.
Seniors: please check with your parents this week to make sure you have ordered your cap and gown.
If you ordered a Student Council Week shirt, you can pick it up Friday morning. Please make sure to pay the $13 for it before doing so.
Coach Yerry will be having an open gym starting Tuesday, March 29th from 7-8PM in the Rocket Center. Open gyms will be every Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Come out and support Unity Vocal Rush for their Final performance of their Competition Show. Vocal Rush will be hosting a Free public performance of their 2022 competition show, titled Silver Screen. Take a trip through the Hollywood Hall of Fame for a show of nostalgia, empowerment, and iconic moments. Featuring music from hit films like Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, Bohemian Rhapsody, and the Greatest Showman, join Vocal Rush in paying Homage to Bright Lights, Stage Fights, and All that Jazz. The show is tomorrow at 7PM in the High School Auditorium and is Free to the Public.
