Are you remembering to drop off your can tabs for Ronald McDonald House when you are done with your drinks? The tabs are recycled and the money collected goes to help with expenses for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House while their child is in the hospital!
It’s great to see the Color Wars happening in school today!
Next week is FFA week! Dress up each day to celebrate!
Tuesday is camo day, Wednesday is FFA colors day, Thursday is farmer's day off or pajama day, and Friday is John Deere vs. Case.
Attention all you hungry people, next week on Wednesday, February 19th, FFA will be holding their annual Pork chop Lunch. Meals are $8 each and include a sandwich, chips, cookie, and a
drink. You can also purchase additional pork chops for $6 or an individual chip, drink or
cookie for $1 each. Just head down to the AG shop during A, B, or C lunch to purchase
your pork chops.
All ACES team members, there will be a short meeting on Friday morning at 8am in Mrs. Anderson's room. If you cannot attend please come pick up your sectional practice packet and practice schedule.
On Tuesday, February 18th, Unity will host Monticello in a boys basketball game at the Rocket Center. We are going to do a 50/50 that night and also donate all admission to Brenda Keeter (Ron). Brenda has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer and Plasma Cell Leukemia (Blood Cancer). Brenda will be going to Northwestern University Hospital for her treatments and care. She will be required to stay there for weeks/months at a time as she receives treatments.
Brenda has worked for 27 years in the Monticello Superintendent's Office and Ron has worked for Unity Junior High School for 21 years.
If you are unable to make the game on Tuesday night and would like to donate, please feel free to stop by the office and make a donation. We will give all donations to Ron next Thursday.
Enjoy the long weekend!
